Organized by the General Union of Neighbourhood Associations of Macau – District Development Center, the “Felicidade Tipsy Weekend” will take place tomorrow from May 22 to 24, 2026 (Friday to Sunday) at Rua de Felicidade. The event is supported by the Macao SAR Economic and Technological Development Bureau, Macao Government Tourism Office, Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute, Cultural Affairs Bureau, Municipal Affairs Bureau, Transport Bureau, Department of Trade and Industry of the Macao Chamber of Commerce, Macao Federation of Trade Unions, Women’s General Association of Macau, Association of Returned Overseas Chinese Macau, United Citizens Association of Macau, Macao Economic and Livelihood Alliance, Macau Youth Federation, the Industry and Commerce Association of Macau, the Industry and Commerce Federation of Macau Central and Southern District, Abrangendo a Rua da Felicidade e Vias Circundantes, Macau Live Broadcasting Association, and Wynn Macau. The event, held daily from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, integrates cocktail culture, live music performances, and a creative marketplace, bringing vibrancy to the historic Rua de Felicidade while enhancing the community economy and tourism appeal.

The event features a main stage and DJ performances, with a schedule packed with popular singers and music artists from Hong Kong and Macao, including celebrated singer Tyson Yoshi, Jessica Chan, as well as local star Vivian Chan and top DJ acts. On the cocktail side, approximately 25 bartenders from Macao and nearby regions will present custom theme cocktails created with ingredients inspired by the local flavors of Rua de Felicidade. Participating merchants in the Felicidade area will also set up stalls offering light snacks, beverages, and souvenirs, ensuring visitors an enriched experience.

The event collaborates with two major financial institutions to introduce Felicidade Spending Rewards. With Bank of China Macao, customers using the BOC Macau Mobile Banking app for payments at participating merchants or booths can enjoy instant discounts of MOP 10 for a single purchase of MOP 68, and MOP 20 for a single purchase of MOP 108. Each customer can enjoy the offer three times daily, while supplies last. Additionally, customers who accumulate spending of MOP 300 during the event period can receive an MOP 50 cashback voucher (redeemable once per customer) that can be used within 7 days at designated merchants. Invite-only special redemption coupons are also available for customers who participated in the “Barra Slow Festival: A Sip of Tea, A Glimpse of Heritage” event. With these, customers can purchase two special cocktail vouchers, originally priced at MOP 136, for just MOP 68. Meanwhile, UnionPay International offers exclusive discounts for visitors. Those who make a single purchase of MOP 50 or more using UnionPay QR codes can enjoy a random discount of up to MOP 20. For Tai Fung Bank, customers who use “Tai Fung Pay” via Tai Fung Bank POS machines or payment QR codes at designated merchants can get an instant discount of MOP 8 for single purchases of MOP 58 or more. Additionally, customers can enjoy a MOP 20 cash redemption voucher by sharing the promotion with three friends via WeChat. These vouchers can be collected at the event’s information desk and used at designated merchants. Customers can also use the Tai Fung mini program on WeChat to obtain discount coupons for participating merchants, with daily quotas being offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

In terms of transportation rewards, participants providing a valid ferry or cross-border bus ticket stub to Macao on the event day will receive a complimentary cocktail voucher upon taking a digital event photo via their phones.

Two designated audience zones will be positioned in front of the main stage. Participating merchants in the surrounding Fulong area will also offer exclusive benefits for spenders during the event. Visitors spending MOP 150 at participating merchants can add MOP 100 to redeem two discounted cocktail vouchers and receive a VIP wristband and a limited-edition souvenir. For those spending MOP 300, they can directly redeem the same benefits. Additionally, buyers spending MOP 50 or more at either participating merchants or cocktail booths during the event can redeem a souvenir onsite. Redemption counters will open daily at 3:00 pm, with wristbands and souvenirs available in limited quantities on a first-come, first-served basis. Note that wristbands are limited to one per person, with daily designs and same-day redemption only. Receipts can only be used once but may be combined for redemption.

To accommodate stage setup and event logistics, Rua de Felicidade (Travessa do Aterro Novo) will be closed to traffic during specific hours. Road closures are scheduled from 2:30 pm to 9:30 pm on May 21–22, and from 12:00 pm to 9:30 pm on May 23–24. Participants can access the event venue through three pedestrian entrances—Travessa do Aterro Novo, Rua da Alfândega, and Restaurant Fat Siu Lau. The organizers encourage visitors to use public transportation and refrain from drinking and driving.

Rua de Felicidade is a highly historic area and a popular heritage tourism destination in Macao. With “Felicidade Tipsy Weekend,” the organizers aim to creatively revitalize the community by injecting youthful energy into the traditional historic neighborhood, thereby attracting both Macao residents and tourists to explore and appreciate its unique charm. The event spans three days from May 22 to 24 (daily from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm) at Fulong New Street and offers free entry. Some cocktails will require onsite purchase or redemption.
