FIRSTAGE – ProjectPlayaround Macau

ProjectPlayaround Macau was derived from lectures and workshops held over the past year. Through inspiration from artistic discussions, TouchDesigner, and explorations of electromagnetic concepts, it is going to unite 16 creatives to present a new media art exhibition and performance titled “FIRSTAGE.”

Curated by Keith Lam, media artist from Hong Kong, the series saw ProjectPlayaround its regional debut in Macao. Here, vastly disparate fields such as electronic coding, sound design, physical performance, folkloric excavation, and artificial intelligence converge with a bang. Rejecting the typical, static display of objects, the exhibition transforms into a continuously evolving, non-linear, and organic system within the Navy Yard, a space embedded with historical echoes.
