Lai Chi Vun Shipyards Ice Skating Carnival organized by Galaxy Entertainment, features a real ice skating rink with a capacity of 30 people, a winter market offering festive food and specialty goods, as well as multiple photo spots. The event has attracted many residents and visitors, creating a lively atmosphere.

The Lai Chi Vun market is filled with a Christmas atmosphere.

At 5 p.m. yesterday, as the sun was setting, many residents came with their families to enjoy Christmas together. The market was filled with a lively festive atmosphere, and many parents and children dined in the food and beverage area while enjoying the sea view, creating a warm and pleasant scene. One resident said it was their first time skating in such a beautiful outdoor setting. They noted that other activities had previously been held in the Lai Chi Vun Shipyards district, but felt that an ice rink was especially well suited to the waterfront space and particularly suitable for family activities. It was a pity that the temperature began to drop yesterday, and it felt a little chilly as the sun went down. They hope similar skating activities can be held again in the future, especially in summer, to bring even more vibrancy to the area.

Another resident said that holding a carnival in the Lai Chi Vun Shipyards district created a pleasant atmosphere, combining a sense of leisure with a touch of liveliness. However, they noted that there were quite a few stray dogs on the way to the shipyards district, and some even followed them, making them worry about being attacked. At one point, they were afraid to continue walking forward. They hope the authorities will pay attention to the situation.

Many families with children visited Lai Chi Vun yesterday for fun and leisure.

The carnival will run until late January.

The “Ice Meets the Sea” Lai Chi Vun Shipyards Ice Carnival will continue to be held on December 27, 28, and 31 this month, and on January 1, 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, and 25 next year, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Free shuttle buses will also operate between Galaxy Macau and Lai Chi Vun Shipyards from 12:00 noon to 7:40 p.m., with departures every 40 minutes on average. Boarding points are located at the Diamond Lobby of Galaxy Macau and X14 at Lai Chi Vun Shipyards.
